It seems my blogs take many different turns and subjects, on a personal note I have been going through some health issues and have been feeling very fatigued, drained and just plain exhausted. I have decided to attempt to keep track of how I am feeling and how the foods I eat affect me. I have been told by my doctor I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease).
The IBD is has been under control with meds. The IBS on the other hand has not been under control, and this is what is so frustrating. Seems everything my Wife and I try does not work. I have read books, read other blogs, searched the internet and nothing seems to make any sense. So my Wife and I decided to take things one step at a time and do the process of elimination. This is to early to tell how it is going. I have been increasing my fiber gradually and limited my gluten intake; I have also started tracking what I eat and the nutritional value of the foods to see what my intake of calories, fat, protein, fiber is. Maybe this way I will be able to see what foods I have trouble with. The only thing I see right now is the gas I have, for me this an improvement (won't get into those details).
As you can tell this blog is shifting and I won't say it will won't change again but for now the focus is try to get me back to some kind of normal.
