I am currently reading a book by John C. Maxwell called “Thinking for a Change”. I have read this book before but decided to reread all my books in my library. It is amazing when you reread a book how you pick-up new things. I am also able to see where I have improved and what I need to work on.
My quote to the left was in Mr. Maxwell’s book and really got me thinking today, ironic. I asked myself am I living everyday to the fullest? This is a hard question to answer honestly. My answer was some of the time and really disappointed me.
I need to pick-up the pace, I don’t read enough, and I don’t plan enough. I really need to visit my goals and adjust as needed. What I want to feel when I go to bed at night is accomplishments either career or personal. My first business to attend to is planning my days, I do realize that I need to be flexible because not every day is gonging to work out as planned but have a plan of attack.
I will plan to do my daily reading, exercise and even time with my family just to name a few. I need to do more of over promising and over delivering at my job. I need to be more consistent with myself and others. I will attempt this for 1 week and revisit this, and see how I did.
What is stopping you from living your day to the fullest, think about it and be honest with yourself. How often are you on the computer, checking email, visiting your favorite sites, using IM, STOP PROCASTING, start preparing yourself for tomorrow because you won’t get a second chance.
