Scheduling

At my current job, there are certain things that need done at certain times. Finding the right schedule to accomplish the tasks has been challenging. How did I figure out what works? Trial and error, each day I adjust my schedule slightly and see how it helped me accomplish the end result. After a month and a half of shifting schedules, rearranging activities, I finally found a schedule that gives me the best result.

One personal aspect I have changed is I do a weekly review of my prior week and look at my up coming week. When reviewing my past I look at what I have and did not accomplish. Then I look at why I did not accomplish the task at hand and what I could of done differently. Doing this really helps with personal growth and being honest with myself. When looking at my up coming week, I am able to remind myself of schedule appointments and if I need to prepare for the appointments. I can also make any adjustments with any tasks that need complete that week.

Schedules are always changing and most of the time never seems to be in our favor. Doing a weekly review will help to limit schedule changes and you will find yourself being able to accomplish more in a weeks time. Doing this also helps keeping focus on growing your personal success.

I challenge you today to take one month, pick a day during the week, any day. Make sure you have at least half and hour and review your prior and prepare for the coming week.
